Dr. Steen has worked with Mrs. Ramirez since December 1986, when his initial responsibilities at Drexel Burnham Lambert were to create and maintain an economic database and help write intraday economic commentary. He remained with Mrs. Ramirez when she started her own firm in 1990. His current responsibilities include technical and fundamental analysis of Treasuries, Agencies, and major equity indices, analysis of Treasury financing, U.S. politics, and selected economic indicators of the U.S. economy. Dr. Steen is also responsible for computer programming for MFR, network management, and development and maintenance of MFR.COM.
